Username and Password protection

A Username/Password protection system is an access security tool that allows the verification of a username and password issued on one server and compared with the same set on another server. Usernames and Passwords are only issued if a payment has been verified in real-time and once a username and password has been issued and verified, the issued username/password combination is removed from both servers. The result is that access to a server is only possible if and when equal usernames and passwords are present on both servers.

This program allows verification of usernames and passwords. To enable this option for your order page, go to the Merchant Menu and click on the 'Maintenance Pincodes' link.

All your order pages are listed in a menu. Click on the page ID you want to enable username/password protection for. From the dropdown select 'Username / password'. You can add your own username and password list in the following format:

You can have one username/password file for multiple pages or username/password files for one order page.

The pincode system can also be used to issue 7 digit pincodes. A more versatile password system is our MC-Access© PWLink, a real-time online access verification system linked to a rebilling and password management sytem and is used to manage subscription based membership sites.
