MultiCards compliant with the PCI Data Security Standard since 2006

The credit card organisations MasterCard International and Visa International have initiated programmes like MasterCard Site Data Protection (SDP) and Visa Account Information Security (AIS) in order to further improve the security of card data processing and storage on credit card processing payment systems.

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI) takes over from previous independent Security Standards. MultiCards is proud to announce that they have successfully completed the participation in this program and that they have reached PCI Compliant status and are now PCI certified by the Card organizations.

Once a year, Business Britain magazine's Board of Directors, Editorial and Management teams attend a meeting to discuss our annual awards. MultiCards Credit Card Fraud Detection

MultiCards Credit Card Fraud Detection service calculates a Risk Factor based on known risk factors and their likelihood to indicate possible fraud.


The score calculated to estimate the riskiness of accepting a credit card ranges from 0 (low risk) to 10 (high risk). The Fraud Score in implemented in the Merchant Menu where Merchants can view their customers transactions.

This Credit Card Fraud Detection Service automatically flags potentially fraudulent transactions so the Merchant can verify if the order is legitimate. This will dramatically reduce fraudulent orders, and thus the chargebacks.
